Who we are
Social is a service of PropertySimple Inc. (“PropertySimple”, “we”). This policy applies to the Social website and apps, your workspace, About you, the Inspiration library, voice conversations, connected social accounts and posting, and help from the PropertySimple team.
For privacy questions or requests, email team@propertysimple.com, or call or text (628) 210-8802. To report a security issue, email security-reports@propertysimple.com. Our legal address is PropertySimple Inc., c/o The Corporation Trust Company, 1209 Orange St., Wilmington, DE 19801.
Information we handle
- Account and workspace data: email address, name, authentication identifiers, workspace membership, plan status, and service usage. You sign in with a link Social emails you or with a password. On the web, Social may offer Continue with PropertySimple instead, which signs you in with your PropertySimple account on PropertySimple’s own sign-in page. The sign-in page shows the options you have.
- Access requests: if you ask for access to Social, your name, email address, the plan you choose and, if you add them, your phone number, brokerage and a note, so the PropertySimple team can confirm your plan with you and set up your workspace. You can withdraw a request in Account, which deletes it.
- About you: your contact details, brokerage, license number, markets, specialties, biography, portrait, logos, the goals and preferences you share with Sam, your corrections, and where each fact came from.
- Your listings: once your account is connected to your agent record, the listings in your PropertySimple feed, with their addresses, prices, status, descriptions, property details, brokerage details and listing photos.
- Project content: conversations, project briefs, project notes, selected looks, instructions created from your request, designs Sam makes, shortlists, and project status.
- Files and references: images, logos, listing photos, filenames, links, and other material you choose to upload or share.
- Connected accounts: for each social account you connect, its name, handle, account ID, connection status and the permissions you granted, plus the access tokens the network issues to Social.
- Posts: each post’s captions, media, networks and times, who approved or scheduled it, your automatic-posting choices, and what each network reported back, such as the post’s link or why it didn’t post.
- Voice data: microphone audio sent for live transcription and responses, plus transcripts saved to the project conversation.
- Technical data: necessary cookies, session information, request metadata, error details, job status, and security or abuse signals.
- Team interactions: requests for human help and records of team members joining a conversation.
If a generation request fails, your browser may temporarily retain the request and attachment names in session storage so you can retry. That information normally clears after success or when the browser tab is closed.
About you, research and your listings
Sam learns about your business so her work sounds like you. About you shows what Social knows and where each fact came from:
- What you tell Sam in a conversation, or enter in About you.
- Your PropertySimple account, if you sign in with Continue with PropertySimple. Social can then bring in the contact details, bio, markets, brand, portrait and logo you keep there, and update them when you change them at PropertySimple. If you’ve only signed in with an email link or a password, Social doesn’t read your PropertySimple account. Your listings are a separate source, below.
- Your PropertySimple listings. Social reads them only after your account is connected to your agent record, either because your verified email matches it or because the PropertySimple team linked it. Social checks them for changes from time to time, including when you sign in with your PropertySimple account and, where Sam’s new-listing notes are available, about every six hours.
- The public web. While Let Sam look up your public pages is on, Social searches for public professional information about you, such as your brokerage profile, your website and public reviews. It uses a page only when it matches your name and another detail, like your work email, phone number, license number or website. When your work calls for it, Sam may also look up public information such as a neighborhood or a local market.
Your corrections come first. What you change in About you, or ask Sam to change, stays that way when Social looks again. Listing facts keep their source; if one is wrong, correct it in your listing or use Need help?. You can hide any image Social found.
You choose whether Social looks for public pages about you, with Let Sam look up your public pages in Account. It’s on unless you turn it off. While it’s on, Social looks the first time you open your workspace, and again when you or Sam check your sources. Turn it off and Social stops searching for pages about you, and Sam won’t look you up unless you ask her to. What Social found before stays in About you until you correct it, hide it or ask us to remove it. Social also uses these pages to find your listings, so if you turn it off before your listings are connected, email team@propertysimple.com and we’ll link them. Sam can still look up public information your work needs, such as a neighborhood or a local market, and if you write to Sam and ask her not to search online, Social leaves the web out of that request. To have something Social found removed, use Need help? or email team@propertysimple.com.
Connected accounts and posting
An owner or admin of your workspace can connect a Facebook Page and its Instagram professional account in Connected accounts. Facebook then asks you to let Social see the Pages and Instagram accounts you manage, including Pages shared with you through a business, and publish to them. Social posts to Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts today. LinkedIn, X and TikTok are coming.
Social uses this access to list the accounts you can post to, publish what you approve, confirm each post went up, see how your posts are doing, and check once a day that the connection still works.
- Approval first. Nothing is posted until you approve it. The one exception is Post new listings automatically, which is off unless an owner or admin turns it on. Sam then schedules posts for new listings, up to 3 a week, and you can undo each one until it goes out.
- When posts go out. Once you approve a post, it goes out at the time you choose, outside your workspace’s quiet hours (9 PM to 8 AM in its time zone unless an owner or admin changes them), or right away with Post now. The PropertySimple team can pause posting for a workspace, or for everyone, when something needs a closer look.
- What networks receive. Each network receives the caption and media of the posts you send to it, when they go out. If a network doesn’t confirm a post, Social checks its status instead of sending it again.
- Access tokens are encrypted and kept on Social’s servers. They are never sent to the Social apps, shown in Social, or written to logs.
- Disconnecting. When an owner or admin disconnects an account, Social deletes its tokens for that account right away. Posts scheduled for it are held, and go out only if the account is connected again before their time. Social stays listed in your Facebook settings until you remove it there. For other networks, Social also asks the network to cancel its access.
- How your posts are doing. For Sam’s Friday note, Social reads the reaction, like, comment and share counts on the posts it published for you in the last two weeks. Where a network lets Social read comments, it also keeps each recent comment’s words and the commenter’s first name and last initial (or the handle the network shows), for 30 days, so Sam can point out questions and draft replies. Drafting a reply sends that comment to our AI provider. Sam never posts a reply: you copy it and post it yourself.
- Published posts stay on the network until you delete them there.
Sam’s notes
Where they’re available, Sam may leave a note in your conversation when a new listing appears in your PropertySimple listings, a short check-in on Monday mornings, and, in weeks when posts went out, a Friday note about what went out and how people responded. They are messages inside Social: Social doesn’t email or text you about them, and they stay in your conversation like any message. An owner or admin can turn off the Monday check-in and the Friday note in How much Sam handles.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure Social: signing you in, setting up your workspace, building About you, remembering project context, interpreting requests, making and editing images, writing captions, scheduling and publishing the posts you approve, storing and transforming previews, delivering downloads, running retryable jobs, applying usage limits, providing support, keeping the service reliable, and improving it. Improving Social means fixing problems and making it work better; it never means training AI models on your content, showing it to other customers, or using it in our marketing without your permission.
Social works with AI providers behind the scenes. Your instructions, relevant project context, About you, your listing details, reference images and, for drafted replies, comments on your posts may be sent to them to plan work, research public information, transcribe voice, respond, write captions, draft replies, and make designs. Review every design and post before you rely on it.
We don’t use your uploads, listings, About you details or the posts Sam makes to train AI models, and our AI providers’ business terms don’t let them use it for training either. OpenAI keeps requests for 30 days to run the service and check for abuse, and can keep them longer when the law requires it.
Providers and human review
These service providers help run Social, each for its own part:
- OpenAI for writing, research, images and voice.
- fal for video, when video is available in your workspace.
- Supabase for the database, file storage and sign-in.
- Vercel for hosting and background work.
- Resend for sign-in email.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), when you connect those accounts. Meta receives the posts you approve and provides the account and post details described above.
- LinkedIn, X and TikTok, only when you connect them.
- PropertySimple Accounts for your PropertySimple sign-in, shared profile and billing.
- Sentry, when enabled in the native apps, for crash reports and performance diagnostics. Reports include app and device details and job identifiers to help us investigate failures. Conversation text, images, voice recordings, screenshots, and session replay are excluded.
Your listings and your PropertySimple account come from PropertySimple’s own services.
Authorized PropertySimple team members can review customer, conversation, project, About you, posting and job information when setting up your workspace, providing requested help, investigating a failure, preventing abuse, or operating the service. We limit this access to legitimate product and support work. Don’t include sensitive personal information that the task doesn’t need.
Storage, retention, and security
How long Social keeps things:
- Your work and your business. Projects, designs, About you, your imported listings, connected-account records and posting records stay with your workspace until you delete them or your account. Posting records include what Social sent to each network and what it answered, so a post is never sent twice.
- A project you delete. Its records go right away, and its files within about an hour.
- A design, video or upload you delete. It leaves Social right away, and its files are erased within about an hour. Social keeps the record of how it was made until you delete your account.
- Your account, when you delete it. Access stops at once, and your workspaces, files and sign-in are usually gone within an hour. If something holds up a step, Social keeps trying and our team finishes it.
- Comments. Comments Social reads from your posts are deleted once they’re 30 days old, and so are the words of the replies Sam drafted for them.
- Files you started to upload but never sent are removed after about a day.
- Backups. Our database provider keeps backups for up to 30 days, so deleted records can stay in them until then. Files aren’t part of those backups: a deleted file is gone.
- Our providers’ copies. OpenAI keeps requests for 30 days, as described above. When video is available in your workspace, fal keeps a record of each video request, including what was sent, for up to 90 days, and it can keep the video files it makes with no set end date. Our hosting provider deletes its records of background work, which can include parts of a request, within 96 days. Deleting something in Social doesn’t recall what was already sent to a provider.
We use access controls, private storage, short-lived links, row-level database rules, server-held provider credentials, encrypted storage for connected-account tokens, and encrypted network connections. No system is perfectly secure, and Social isn’t meant for regulated or highly sensitive information, so please don’t store it there.
We don’t use non-essential analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we’ll update this policy and add consent controls where required.
Your choices
You can archive or permanently delete individual projects in the workspace, download generated assets, remove designs from a shortlist, and delete designs, videos and photos you don’t want. In About you, you can correct your details, hide images and delete the ones you added. Owners and admins can disconnect accounts in Connected accounts, and turn automatic posting, the Monday check-in and the Friday note on or off in How much Sam handles. On the web, both are on the Connected accounts page; in the iPhone, iPad and Mac apps, they’re in Account. In Account, on the web and in the apps, you can turn Let Sam look up your public pages on or off.
Deleting your account
You can delete your Social account yourself, in Account, on the web or in the iPhone, iPad and Mac apps. Deletion is immediate and final: your access stops, posts that haven’t started going out are cancelled, your connected accounts are disconnected, and the workspaces you own are deleted with their designs, posts, files and About you details. It can’t be undone, so download anything you want to keep first.
Posts already on your social networks stay there until you remove them, and your PropertySimple account stays too. Your Social sign-in is deleted with the account, so to use Social again you ask for access as a new customer would. If another person uses a workspace you own, email team@propertysimple.com and we’ll move it first. We keep a record that the deletion happened, with a one-way hash of your email address instead of the address itself.
Questions and requests
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to get a copy. For these requests, or any privacy question, use Need help? in your workspace or email team@propertysimple.com. We’ll verify requests before acting on account data and answer within 45 days. If we need longer, as some laws allow, we’ll tell you why within that time.
Age, regions, and changes
Social is for real estate professionals and their teams, not children. Don’t use Social if you’re under 18. Social is operated in the United States, and your information may be processed in the countries where our providers operate.
We may update this policy as Social changes. Material changes get a new date at the top of this page and, when appropriate, a notice in Social.
